Core Coach Training
The British Canoeing Core coach training is a 2 day practical course based on exploring core coaching skills, different approaches to coaching and supporting your development to become a coach.
Core Coach is a Pre-Requisite to all discipline specific coach award training.

Sheltered Water Coach Training and Assessment
The sheltered water coach training is a 2 day course based on developing the knowledge, understanding and skills required to ensure learners are appropriately catered for in the sheltered water environment.
The course includes:
*Assessing learners performance
*Designing and delivering progressive practice and training
*Creating an enjoyable and motivating learning environment
*Managing Safety
You can choose to be a:
* Sheltered water kayak coach
*Sheltered water canoe coach
*Or a Canoe/Kayak sheltered water coach

*Full Home Nation Membership

Whitewater Canoe Coach Training and Assessment
The whitewater canoe coach training is a 2 day course based on developing the knowledge, understanding and skills required to ensure learners are appropriately catered for in the moderate whitewater environment.
The course includes:

*Creating an enjoyable and motivating learning environment
*Managing Safety

Openwater Canoe Coach Training and Assessment
The openwater canoe coach training is a 2 day course based on developing the knowledge, understanding and skills required to ensure learners are appropriately catered for in the moderate openwater environment.
The course includes:

*Creating an enjoyable and motivating learning environment
*Managing Safety

Advanced Openwater Canoe Coach Training and Assessment
The advanced open water canoe coach training is a 2 day course focusing on the 'What' and 'How' to coach in this environment.
Coaching, paddling and sailing in conditions up to and beyond force 4.
The course includes:
*Assessing learners performance
*Designing and delivering progressive practice and training
*Creating an enjoyable and motivating learning environment
*Managing Safety
Pre-requisites for Assessment:
*Full Home Nation Membership
*Core Coach Training or equivalent
*Advanced Openwater Canoe Leader Award or equivalent

Paddlesport Instructor Training
This is the qualification used by outdoor centres, organisations and clubs to support their activity delivery. Secondly it doesn’t matter if you Canoe, Kayak, Sit on Top Kayak, Stand Up Paddleboard, this course allows you to develop your existing skills and passion for paddlesport.
What will I learn on the course:
*Preparing a group for activities
*Together you will play with a range of activities to engage the group (e.g. games, tasks and journeys)
*You will explore a range of motivating activities and games that support learning;
*The tutors will support you to plan ways of using mini journeys to inspire adventure and exploration;
*You will develop ideas that allow you to help participants learn basic skills;
*Our tutors will share top tips and quick fixes for common challenges to accelerate learning
*You will investigate how to select suitable equipment for participants;
*You will explore methods of maintaining participants’ safety and develop your understanding of deployment matters.
Pre-requisites:
*Full Home Nation Membership
*Completed Paddlesport Safety and Rescue or FSRT
*Registered with British Canoeing
*Minimum of 14 years of age

SUP Instructor Training
This is the qualification used by outdoor centres, organisations and clubs to support their activity delivery. This course for a SUP only course.
What will I learn on the course:
*Preparing a group for activities
